Hip Hop ya Don't Stop (Motion)

The first video from the all-puppet band Otafuku Rex is online! I had the pleasure of animating a few shots on this under the direction of the very talented Eric Towner and David Candelaria. I think this is one of the best looking videos, stop-motion or otherwise, to come out in years.

Go to Otafuku Rex to see the video in high or low resolution.

Brian-

I can't remember the specific number of replacement faces- but it wasn't very many. I want to say 6 or so.

Hi Ethan. You probably know me from the SMA messageboard.

Anyway, just for fun, I used Bert's little dance from Do Me I'm The Best as reference footage and animated an armature to it. You can watch it here!
(in the best interests of not infringing copyright on Otafuku's music, I used one of my own songs). Man, just studying Do Me has made me a better animator! It's ALL about pose-to-pose.
