Another set up wrapped up!
Yesterday I finished the last of the shots with my robot character! I feel really good about completing this chunk of the film- one less thing to think about. Now the next major step will be getting Brawl Magnet from sculpt to puppet.
The mystery master mold-maker below is currently laying up the clay for what is going to be a six piece mold. More about the mold soon....
Nothing so satisfying as crossing shots out.

A quick question, what type of clay is your mystery mold maker using to make the mould wall?

That Robot is one seriously beautiful puppet! I got to see him up close and man, I can't believe how finely-calibrated that armature was. Can't wait to see the finished piece...

For Brian- not sure exactly what the clay is called, but it is a wet clay that is water soluble, so it can be pulled away from the sculpt.
