Gaining controls.

There are so many little projects within the BIG project of shooting a personal stop-motion film. At times, these jobs can be tedious, and there is so much to do just to set the stage for a handful of shots. As mentioned in my post below, building the sets is my biggest challenge. Today I finally finished this half-scale "control room" set and I couldn't be happier! There was a lot of detail work to be done with the little lights and buttons. The monitors have white screens now but in the final shots I will have various moving images composited onto them. This set is mainly for close-ups on buttons being pushed and images popping up on the screens. Now I have some puppet building to do....
